The southeast silviculture library (SESL) allows forest managers and scientists to share information on field studies that test questions related to the region’s forests. There are two general types of studies in the library: demonstration and scientific studies. We encourage submission of either type of study as both can be incredibly valuable to the forestry community.
Forest managers and scientists might be able to visit some these studies and ‘kick-the-dirt’ or just learn about them online.
The library follows others at the Universities of Minnesota (Midwest, https://silvlib.cfans.umn.edu/) and Vermont (Northeast, https://www.uvm.edu/nesl/).
